Thank you for visiting the Capital Artist Collective, I hope you enjoy the collection. I am so pleased to bring the Artist Collective to the area to showcase some of the amazing emerging artists in and around our nation’s Capitol. Washington is such a dynamic, diverse and culturally rich community. I am so impressed by the artists I have met, and honored to have this fabulous opportunity to share their talents with all of you.
I have always loved art, drawing and painting whenever I can. I appreciate the skills of many artists and love how art draws a response from the viewer. Whatever the response, art is a wonderful gift to all of us no matter how we see it.
Following my undergraduate studies, I lived and worked in New York City. I loved my experience and am so thankful for the time I had in the city. After years of working different positions, I realized how much I enjoyed building connections and helping others share their talents. I hope the Capital Artist Collective will not only highlight the work of the fabulous artists, but also attract collectors both young and experienced to original, affordable art while giving back to non-profits supporting our community.
I moved to the Capitol area in 2001, lured by a boy. We now live in Washington, DC with our four children and two dogs.
