Original works by local artists.
curated for everyday living.
The Charleston Artist Collective was founded in 2010 with a simple idea: make collecting original art more accessible—and make it matter. What started in a Charleston living room has grown into a thriving online gallery that now includes sister collectives in Atlanta, Nashville, Virginia, and Palm Beach.
We feature monthly themed releases of original, affordable artwork by local artists—and donate a portion of every sale to a local nonprofit. Since launch, we’ve donated over $200,000 to organizations supporting children, conservation, education, and the arts.
Our artists work in a wide range of styles and mediums, but they share one thing in common: they believe art should be personal, joyful, and within reach.
how it works
Each month, artists respond to a shared theme—
offering a fresh take and a new collection of work. All artwork is original.
Most pieces are under $500, and a portion of every sale supports a local nonprofit.

Commissions
Many of our artists are happy to accept custom commissions. Whether you're looking for a special size, subject matter, or color palette—we’ll guide you through the process from start to finish.
We’ll:
• Help match you with the right artist
• Assist with sizing, palette, and framing suggestions
• Communicate your vision clearly to the artist
• Ensure you're thrilled with the final piece
Custom doesn’t have to mean complicated
framing
Framing is personal—and the right frame makes all the difference.
Most of our artwork is sold unframed to give you flexibility, but we’re always happy to help.
We offer:
• Custom frame recommendations
• Sizing guidance
• Referrals to trusted local framers
• Optional coordination for framing + delivery
If you need support, just ask. We’ll make it easy.
