Susan Westmoreland

Susan is a native of Atlanta, married and mother of two girls, and lives and paints from her home in Sandy Springs. Susan discovered her passion for art at an early age, having come from a family of artists. Inspired by everyday life and nature, she seeks to capture the sometimes hidden beauty and raw emotion of living creatures.  She explains, "Painting serves as a platform to express my love for and the beauty of God's magnificent earth. It is my desire to translate the heart and soul of the places I have experienced onto the canvas in a way that brings joy to the viewer.” She is a board member of Art Sandy Springs and a member of the brushstrokes art group as well as the Atlanta Artist Collective. Susan continues to build on her years of art study working with many renowned artists. She has been accepted in many national and local juried art shows and has won numerous awards.
