Denna Babul was born in Charleston, S.C., and grew up admiring the art all around her. "From attending the Spoleto Festival to watching the ladies weaving straw baskets in the street market to artists painting Rainbow Row from the street corners, creativity was everywhere." "In my family, creativity is a way of life. We all love doing things with our hands and telling a story through what we create. I don't remember a time in my life when I wasn't creating." Denna is an artist and an award-winning author who has written multiple books. She has found a unique niche by pairing her love of painting and writing to tell a story in every piece she creates. She enjoys working with many mediums, including mixed media, acrylics, watercolors, and sculptures. Denna loves the unexpected.
