Linnea Bast

Beatrice Linnea Bast is a Delray Beach and Brooklyn based biophilic artist designing custom preserved lichen installations. Linnea’s work is fueled by her desire to connect people to the natural world by bringing the outside in. Linnea hopes that by connecting people to nature it will encourage our community to continue to care for and protect our environment. She also believes that adding more greenery into our lives makes us happier and more connected to the natural world. Linnea holds a BFA from the University of Michigan, a Permaculture Design Certificate from Urban Permaculture Institute of San Francisco, and has studied Ornamental Horticulture at the City College of San Francisco and the New York Botanical Garden. Combining her passion and knowledge for fine art and horticulture - Linnea creates maintenance-free elegant installations unique to any space.
